Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
General Questions
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that are widely studied in scientific and research settings for their potential biological interactions and applications.
Are your products intended for human consumption?
No. All products sold by Peptagenics Labs are strictly intended for laboratory research and analytical purposes only. They are not approved by SAHPRA or the FDA for human consumption, medical use, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease.
What does “99%+ purity” mean?
Purity refers to the percentage of the intended compound present in the final product, typically verified through third-party laboratory testing methods such as HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography).
Are your products lab tested?
We work with suppliers that provide batch testing and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for quality verification. COAs may be available upon request for certain batches.
Why are peptides supplied in lyophilized (powder) form?
Lyophilized peptides are generally more stable during shipping and storage compared to pre-mixed liquid formulations. This helps preserve product integrity and shelf life when handled correctly.
